Both agree that Egypt is promising market with geo-political, geo-economic importance

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Governor Tarek Amer has met with Ambassador of South Korea to Egypt Hong Jin-wook to discuss ongoing cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides shared the macroeconomic outlook for both countries, and discussed ideas to expand economic cooperation.

Amer and Hong also discussed ways to strengthen ongoing cooperation between the two countries on automobile, electronics, railways, textiles among other topics.

Furthermore, they shared the view that Egypt is a promising market with geo-political and geo-economic importance.

The meeting included discussions on how to make Korean companies more familiar with Egyptian markets, so that they can make use of Egypt as a regional hub of their business.
