Faisal Islamic Bank Egypt records EGP 1.09B profit in H1-Egypt


ArabFinance: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (FAIT) posted a consolidated net profit of EGP 1.09 billion in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to a profit of EGP 826.55 million in H1 2020, according to the bank’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Meanwhile, the bank achieved a standalone net profit of EGP 1.015 billion in H1 2021, up from profits of EGP 791.63 million in the prior-year period.

It is worth noting that the bank previously announced that its business volume stood at EGP 125.835 billion at the end of June 2021, marking a 13% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth.

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt is a financial institution that offers banking and investment services in accordance with Islamic Sharia principles through its head office and 27 branches located across the country.
