NTRA signs new frequency agreements with Vodafone, Telecom Egypt, Etisalat
ArabFinance: The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) signed agreements with Telecom Egypt, Vodafone Egypt, and Etisalat Egypt to allocate the new frequency bands in the 2600 MHz, according to Cabinet’s Facebook page.
The agreements aim to reach the optimal form of allocation in order to maximize the benefit from these frequencies.
Telecom Egypt and Orange Egypt signed an amendment to their mobile-to-fixed termination agreement to improve both commercial and service quality terms.
Telecom Egypt is an Egypt-based joint-stock company, which is engaged in the provision of public communications and associated products and services.
The company operates under the following segments: communications, marine cables, and infrastructure; internet services, as well as outsourcing services. It offers a range of fixed-line and retail telecommunications services, as well as wholesale telecommunications services.
